Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: 10 June 2025 · Effective Date: 10 June 2025

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Ilmu Nusantara website and your enrolment in our AI development courses. By accessing our website or enrolling in a course, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Definitions

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or enrolling in a course, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or enrol in our courses.

3. Course Description and Availability

Ilmu Nusantara offers three structured online courses in AI development. Each course is delivered over a fixed number of weeks and includes recorded lessons, weekly live sessions, project exercises, mentor feedback, and access to a community space. Course availability is subject to intake scheduling. We reserve the right to modify course content, schedule live sessions, or update materials at any time, provided that any changes do not materially reduce the educational value of the course.

4. Enrolment

Registration

To enrol, you must provide accurate personal information including your name and a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login credentials provided to you.

Cohort Sizes

We limit the number of learners per intake to maintain the quality of feedback and live sessions. Enrolment is confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis once payment is received.

Eligibility

Certain courses assume prior knowledge. We describe prerequisites in each course listing. It is your responsibility to ensure the course is appropriate for your current level before enrolling.

5. Payment Terms

Fees

Course fees are as follows and are denominated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM): Beginning AI Development — RM 240; Data & Model Building — RM 286; From Model to Application — RM 326. All fees are inclusive of applicable taxes.

Payment

Payment must be made in full at the time of enrolment unless an instalment arrangement has been agreed in writing. We accept online bank transfer and major credit or debit cards. Enrolment is not confirmed until payment is received.

Refund Policy

If you wish to withdraw before the course begins, please contact us at least 5 working days before the start date. In that case, we will refund your course fee in full minus a processing fee of RM 30. After the course commences, fees are non-refundable. If exceptional personal circumstances arise (illness, bereavement), please contact us — we handle such situations on a case-by-case basis and will try to find a fair resolution, which may include transfer to the next intake.

6. User Responsibilities

7. Intellectual Property

All course content, materials, recordings, and resources produced by Ilmu Nusantara remain our intellectual property. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the materials for your personal learning during the course period. This licence does not extend to redistribution, commercial use, or reproduction of our content.

Project work you produce during the course belongs to you. We do not claim ownership over your code, documentation, or submitted projects.

8. Course Completion and Documentation

Completion documentation is issued to learners who complete all required course components, including project submission. The documentation confirms your participation and completion of the course. It does not confer any formal qualification or credential beyond what is stated on the document itself. We make no representations about how third parties (employers, institutions) will regard this documentation.

9. Disclaimers

Courses are provided on an "as is" basis for educational purposes. We make no representations that completing our courses will result in employment, career advancement, or any specific outcome. Learning results depend on individual effort, prior knowledge, and circumstances beyond our control. We are not a licensed educational institution and our courses are not accredited by any Malaysian or international academic body unless specifically stated.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Ilmu Nusantara shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our courses or website. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the course fee paid by you for the specific course to which the claim relates.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ilmu Nusantara, its instructors, and its staff from any claims, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of course materials, or your conduct in the community space or live sessions.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to remove a learner from a course without refund if they materially breach these terms, including through sharing course materials, submitting others' work, or disruptive conduct. You may withdraw from a course at any time, subject to the refund policy above.

Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination of this Agreement.

13. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at [email protected] to seek an informal resolution. If that is not possible, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Selangor, Malaysia.

14. General Provisions

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via our website or by email to enrolled learners at least 7 days before taking effect. Your continued participation in a course after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
